To the naked eye, all ants may look the same ant and arise disgust in some people. However, if we zoom on their life with the help of macrophotography, these views might change. Just look around us!

This galleri contains ant pictures which are sorted according to habitus (general appearance) and taxon name (genus).

The photographic equipments used were Canon PowerShot S2 IS camera, Raynox DCR-250 conversion lens, Raynox MSN-202 conversion lens, plastic/paper flash diffuser, and Canon PowerShot A410 camera. In the caption, the proximation of the ant's body length is given to add context for human dimension.
